Here I take a wonderful walk after a torrential downpour that left several puddles and my normal exercise path totally flooded. It was very lucky that I was wearing my patent leather Guess heels that are able to take a great amount of punishment. I tried to resist but my urge overcame me and I started to have a lot of fun playing in the puddle.
As I was going through my shoe area for some end-of-the-year cleaning, I noticed that there were several shoes that had gotten a bit old and quite tough. All that means is that if I kept on wearing them that it eventually a fall apart anyway. Now I am much too honorable just to throw a pair shoes away. So I decided to take my Michael Antonio heels for one last walk out to the garage, picking up a very long screwdriver I decided to end them the best way I knew how. First I started with the toes and drilled a hole right through the center of them. Next I wedged the screwdriver in between the vented slots on the side and pulled until the leather finally tore and gave way. There was a lot of ripping and tearing in popping all the while while I was finishing off the leather in the front of my shoe. But I didn't stop there! I took the heel and stood on it as hard as I could. From there they wouldn't quite give way, so I pulled out my trusty screwdriver and started prying away in till the heel finally gave out and folded with a mighty bang! From there I kept on prying and tearing until the sole of the shoe had nearly come all the way off. I don't believe I'm entirely done with these shoes yet!
Holiday Balls 12/21/2014
Happy holidays, as our last Vidiset of the year comes closer, thought we might do a bit of a holiday shoot. Here I decide to take my beautiful Bagley's and start putting things away for the holiday season. (We had the flu so this shoot is a little bit late :-) As I am walking out to put the ornaments away, I accidentally bumped them and they spilled all over the floor. When I went to pick them up I found that most of them were cracked. So what better way to have some holiday fun than to just smash those old ornaments. It felt nice to feel the crushing and crunching that went on under my wonderful slingbacks. Using both the toe and the heel, I got some wonderful satisfaction out of my silly mistake.
Trapped in Manolo’s 12/28/2014
Well it never seems to fail. Here I am trying to get to the airport on time. So as I'm looking through the keys for the one for my ignition, guess what I do. I am well aware that this is not a mistake! I will find the person who did this and make her pay! But first I have got to try to get my Manolo Blahnik high heels unstuck from this very gooey mess. I tried everything, twisting to the left, twisting to the right, pulling hard up, and pushing straight forward. Nothing seems to be working! At certain times I am pulling so hard I was sure I was going to break the straps on my heels. In the end the glue had made such a mess of my high heels, I had no other option but to just let them stay. So I unbuckled my beautiful Manolo's and had to drive off to the airport with only my nylons on!
Sticky Student 01/26/15
Well the new class schedule has started for spring and it is back to college for a few refresher courses. Sitting in a lecture hall, I was being good and taking my notes when I noticed someone sitting behind me. I didn't think anything of it, and when he dropped his pen I bent over to pick it up. That is when he must have poured glue onto the floor and my shoes. Amazingly enough I didn't know it until he was gone. It was kind of embarrassing because I noticed other people staring at me as I was struggling to get my shoes free of the sticky mess. I felt so awkward when I had to ask the professor to stop and call a janitor for me.
Wrong Way 02/10/15
Wow! Even with GPS Jamari and I manage to get lost. I’m not to too far away from civilization but a backwoods trail never the less. I stopped and asked Jamari where we were. She tried to tell me we were lost but I wasn’t listening. She said to proceed straight ahead, but I forgot the car was in reverse. Before I knew it the car was racing backwards and straight into a puddle. Boy was Jamari angry! I asked her to get out and push and she said “no way” we settled on a game of rock paper scissors and I promptly won. Out she went into the sticky mud with her high heels. Sinking in and filling her arches with the muck, she went to the back of the car and pushed as I revved the engine and all that happened was me spinning my wheels. Since that did not work she suggested I get out and push too. Standing in the mud with my boots, we pushed and pushed, then Jamari tried to drive the little Miata out, she pumped and pumped, trying not to burn up the engine, but it did no good. Soon we found our self’s walking over to the nearest house in muddy heels to ask for help.
